WRITING AND RESEARCH
Annotated Research Bibliography
In my Indigenous Cultural Heritage class, I compiled an annotated bibliography of different sources for my research topic that unveils the hard truths of Native American history with the U.S and trauma. This annotated bibliography gave me a new perspective on researching trauma and Indigenous efforts for healing and resilience.
Indiana Blog Post
In my public history class, I researched an important woman historical figure named Carrie Barnes and her connection to the Equal Suffrage Association #7 in Indianapolis. I was tasked with researching an important person and then compiling a blog to share with the Indiana Historical Bureau.
Interview with Museum Professional
In my Collections Care & Management Class, I conducted an interview with the Director of the Richmond Museum, Shaun, to learn more about his role as the director and how changes in our nature environments can affect their museum roles. This experience gave me insight into different types of art (contemporary and decorative art), and about collection care practices within small museums.
